This is one amazing beer! There must be a barrel of hops in each bottle. Aroma is hops. Flavor is you guessed it hops! The Beer is a nice copper color with a off white head. This is one of those beers you could put in you top 5 of all time.

Bearing in mind that I generally do not care for Pilseners my fondness of this beer stands out. ...... Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with a medium sized white head. There is a crisp floral hop aroma with undertones of citrus. The flavor is initially mild with a sweet flowery taste that seems to just swirl around the tongue and provide a brief sour/malty aftertaste. One of the best pilseners I have ever tasted - but not so much as to make me much of a drinker of this style.

Bottle - Poured a dark black brew with a huge foamy dark head. Aroma of roastiness and coffee are very present. Strong body with subtle taste of alcohol. Very complex, taste of coffee, caramel and chocolate are mix very well. One of the best Imperial Stout I had the chance of drinking. Re-rate (2007 bottling date with best before of 2012 and drank in 2013): Wow. Almost no oxidation with enjoyable notes of chocolate and roasted malt with light oxidation notes. Has kept better then I had expected.

VAML is a pale yellow beer witha frothy head. The aroma is light hops. The flavor is a nice balance of hoppy sweetness, but lacked in intensity. The body was extremely light and somewhat watery. Nothing robust about this beer. Drinkable.

A clear golden beer fills the glass under a dense white head. Hops meet the nose while preparinf the tongue for the well balanced sweet/bitter brew with the hoppy finish. Light, dry, and lively this is a refreshing Pilsner.

The head came and went quickly on this clear yellow beer. Yeasty aroma with citrus and spice in there too. Sweetly acidic, this light bodied brew was softly carbonated with a finish that was a little drier. Slight alcohol as well.

Bottled in November 2003. Poured copper-orange, with a thin ring of light tan carbonation. Citrusy, piney, sweet aroma. Flavor was very hoppy at first, with bitter pine notes fading into sweet, sugary malts reminiscent of light caramel and candied fruits. Reminiscent of Bells Batch 6000 without the same level of malt complexity, this beer's hoppiness suggests it should be cellared for a few months before trying again.

This brew pours a lightly hazy orange/gold color with a thin white head. Thin and quick lacing. Aroma of spice, fruit, wheat and a little alcohol. Crisp body with a nice blend of fruit (apple and banana), spices, warming alcohol and sweet candy. The finish is long and sweet with a pinch of peppery hops. This is a very good Tripel.

03 bottle. It’s hyped, it’s in the top 50. . .it delivered! Brilliant golden orange color, quite bubbly, but not hazy or bottle conditioned (which is my biggest problem with this otherwise magnificent beer). Small disippating head. I had a medium strong aroma on mine, but what it was was fabulous. Sprucey hops, light conifer trees, very dry and peppery. Almost like some wintergreen in there or sweet mint. The aroma lasted pretty well too. Flavor is terfically balanced. This one had a nice hops and malt balance but tended more to the hops flavor, which is nice, as I would prefer more dry over more sweet. Pine hops, some juiciness, juniper. Not over-the top again (wow 3 not over the tops in one weekend for me). Slightly subtle, fresh and no acidity whatsoever. Quite carbonated, medium body. Finishes with a little bit of thiness, no doubt from the filtration, but still incredible. Thanks for the chance to try this George!
2004 bottle Nearly the same as the 03 (well, probably almost exactly the same recipe), but since trying this a year ago, I’ve since found better Double IPAs out there, still a great beer, but a bit too filtered which brings us to the conclusion that North York Sammy states, "Missing something."
2005 draught and bottle Excellently bitter from the outset, but with more of an herbal suggestion, almost like dill, lychee, wintergreen, tangerine and a touch of vanilla mixed in. Very curious in both nose and flavor, though it is more pronounced in the flavor. The bottled version seemed more bitter and with a bit more pine and sharpness, while the draught was stunningly balanced. Almost like they are using a similar (though amped) up recipe based on the prima pils. I must say, though it has american hops, it has a very crisp, light body, with pils like malts. Definitely not a cookie-cutter version this year. Upping it a few points.
