Amber-brown. Clear and not much head. The aroma is sugary, caramelly. Sweet palate, like a doppelbock with lighter brown sugars, caramel and toffee. Not really a lot of balance. Alcohol in the finish contributes dryness but you have to imagine the 45IBUs of hops do as well, even though you can’t taste them.

650mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma is mainly spices, with some light caramel, toasted malt and nuts. Flavour of spices, nuts, toasted malt, more spices (nutmeg), and some dried fruits. Dominated by the spices. Decent, but lacking.

A reddish brown ale with a thick collapsing moka head. In aroma, light murky burned caramel, vanilla and honey. In mouth, a thin metallic nutty malt, rather pedestrian and boring, watery. Can from MLCC via Piscator, probably more than 6 months old. Thanks Kris.

2l pours deep dirty blond with a strong corn aroma. This stuff is sweet corn and hay all the way, very easy to drink, but poorly balanced.
