Bottle, 22oz. Lots of microfloaties in this one, amber in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is rather piney and resiny with citrus zest and some caramel maltyness. A bit roasted too, both in the aroma and the flavor. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, with malty sweetness in the back. Pine cones and resins. Lasting finish. Lacking a bit on complexity this one, but it’s a fine beer anyway. 141024

From notes:
It was poured from a can the color was a dark brown with a slight head. The aroma was metallic like the can. The taste was of a slight bitter malt flavor.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear, golden yellow with slight amber hue, white head. Sweet bready malt aroma. Flavour has the same sweet bready malt with some mild hops and caramel malt. Pretty good balance. Medium body, medium dryness throughout.

Burnt & roasted coffee, nutty in a natural way (if that makes any sense, it does to me!). Hops in the finish don't mesh too well with malt.
