Pours black, small white head. Smell is weak, mild roast. Taste is medium weak, mild roast, bit coffee. Weak, especially for the style and ABV. lower side of body thickness, medium carbo. Served way to cold ( just like any other beers we had at BJ's ) . They describe it themselves as ' beer can't get much more intense than this' which makes me wonder if they've ever even drank any imperial stout :/

Pours black, under a full, very slowly rising foam, due to the nitro pour on this one. Smell is full, dry, roasty. Taste is creamy, dry, roasty, bit chocolate. Some coffee. Roasty, bit coffee ending. Nice, but not very out of the ordinary.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark amber color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy with a bit of lime. The flavor was tangy and somewhat sweet with notes of lime and salt. Medium length finish. Medium body.

[On tap at BJ's, Brea, CA.] A bright amber pour with thin white head; weak birchy aroma; smooth in the mouth with buttery malts and resinous hops; then a well-balanced bittersweet finish. Lacking distinct flavours though.
