Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Jumping on the US hop blonde beer bandwagon. Gold colour, thick cream head. Slight burton snatch aroma. Citrus hops too. Pretty good condition in the mouth. Then US hop finish, so not surprised it says it has Cascades. It’s fine and perfect for summer.

Amber coloured with a slight white head. Muted aromas of red fruit and stale malt. Flavour lacked the sulphurous tones of the cask version, instead being of fruity malt with a rather abrupt finish. Bland.

Dark amber to brown color, clean. Simple aroma. Fresh taste, with some malt, caramel, sweetness if possible. Ends with a vague earthy hopping, but the bitterness is strong enough and lasting. Pleasant.

Bottle. BB dec 2006. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. DArk yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Not off but getting there. OK moderate bitter flavor and finish. Watery palate.
