Bretty lemon nose. Clear amber, thick head. Tart, lemon and oak, basement overtones. Nicely done, but not as much complexity as one would expect from wild yeast. Definitely sour and oaky.

Old bottle from when it was just Beach Brewing. Pours clear Ruby hazel, medium beige head, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is mostly bourbon and dark sugars. Quite sweet, medium bitter. Medium body. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Blackfin on 30 Apr 2018 at 22:59 - Score: Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Tap. Pours hazy hazel, medium creamy off-white head, dissipates slowly, great lacing. Aroma is dark sugars, toffee, rye malt, dark bread, roasty. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, roasty and malty, dark sugars provide an access but do not overpower. Bitterness comes on strong as you drink. Full body. Good

Bottle shared at the chriso Easter 2015 tasting - London. Big thanks to Scoopey. Gusher! Pours black-brown with a creamy tan head. The nose gives off a little bit of brett, dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with light chocolate, brett, subtle roast, baking cocoa. Medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. Warming finish with notes of dark fruits, brett. Tasty overall, but it seems a bit infected.

Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso - Old Town Alexandria. Poured a nearly black color with a small off-white head. Aroma was a blast of roasted malts, some dark fruits, touch of woody notes, a very light character of Cabernet. Light citrus notes, touch of dark fruits. A bit like a black IPA in the way that the beer is chewy.
