(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 22 May 2011) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass and lemon peel. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grass, grapefruit and fresh citrussy hops in the finish. Rather light body, with balanced sweetness and a generous bitterness. Nice, refreshing and highly drinkable.

On tap at Euston Tap. I hate it when your hand held devise crashes during a lengthy rate where you are being quite interesting and describing the beer well. But it did happen so this is the shorter less composed version. Its good and in the mould of Marble Pint but more bitter and less well balanced but the finish is excellent.

On tap at Euston Tap. Cloudy orange gold with lasting thin white head. Tasty enough german style wheat beer especially for the UK. If anything a little restrained and they could have gone further. Some banana esters but light on the spice. The finish is quite british and bitter. Interesting beer. Pretty tasty and I would recommend this to someone who wanted to know what a weizen tasted like in the uk. Ok

Keg at the Rake. It pours slightly hazy red-brown, with a thin yellow-white head and fine carbonation. The nose is red fruits (inc. strawberry), sour sherbet and some metal. The taste is hay, lime zest, grass, pine, astringent, metal and some spice, with a long bitter finish. It is perhaps a bit too gassy and too thin to support the bitterness.

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 20 April 2011. Slightly hazy gold with thin white head. Sea aroma with pleasant salty fragrances. Intense hoppiness of grapefruit in liquid and a fine upper-mouth bitterness in aftertaste which builds and lasts. Light mouthfeel.
