Bottled, thanks TEJA! Hazy pale copper, small head. Vanilla aroma. Light bodied with clean hard mouthfeel. Artificial vanillin flavour - not much else. Low bitterness. Just odd.

Interesting....I had this bottle for 6 months. Poured the first 250 ml. The colour was golden with a thin off white head. In aroma....gueuze, lactic and actually not bad. The taste was tart and acidic, with raspberry seeds, almost refreshing. Poured the second half, with dregs...ouch, aroma is still quite interesting, gueuzy, but tastes now include autolyzed yeast, burned rubber, not so good. This is spoiled but could have the potential for a good gueuze.

Bouteille 500ml.

Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of fake butterscotch is not the most pleasant. Taste is also dominated by some bad butterscotch notes with light alcohol ester. Body is too thin and sweetness is kind of gross. I am not sure if Cognac was really used in this beer but it must have been one of the least interesting type. Another missed experiment from a strange brewery.

A dark reddish brown ale with a thin off white head. A strong butterscotch aroma, buttery, cloying. In mouth, a weak malt followed by buttery scotch alcohol in finish. Short and cloying. On tap at St-Bock, Sept. 13 2008.

Bottle: Poured a dirty blonde color ale with a huge white ale with great retention and great lacing. Aroma of weird grainy taste is not really enjoyable and no hops were discernable. Taste is also a mix between some astringent grainy malt with very little other characteristics discernable. Even thought the brewery is not known for the best offering this has to be one of the worst.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber/red color ale with an above average head with light retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of weird fake syrupy blackberry juice with an unrefined grainy malt base. Taste is also somewhat messy with a grossly sweet blackberry syrup mix with a rather suspect malt base. Another weird and suspect experiment from a brewery who doesn’t impress me.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of strong fake syrupy raspberry. Taste is also dominated by this fake raspberry syrup with some sweet and almost cloying notes. It is really unclear to me what the market that they are trying to penetrate is – I never though there was a large portion of the population that was ready to pay for some overpriced fake fruit based beer.
