500ml bottle from Glug, Newcastle. Sparkling, orange gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity apple, woody, funky. Taste is crisp apple flesh, tart apple, fruity notes, melon & white grape, some vanilla, with light funk and tangy dryness. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from the brewer’s own stand at the Good Food Show at Birmingham NEC. Clear gold. Sharp and dry. Sour apple. Really quite rough and scrumpy-like. Not my sort of cider.

Cask @ Hand Drawn Monkey bar, Huddersfield. First time I’ve seen Ty Gwyn on draught & I must say it’s a welcome sight. Cloudy, murky body with a fresh harvest apple aroma, taste however is a slightly dull scrumpy blend. Nice enough though.

500ml bottle from Ludlow Food Festival. Clear golden body, very dry on the tongue, a little sweet, lovely tannin, rich, nice character with a hint of mild vanilla as you make your way through. All in all a beautiful little cider.

500ml bottle from Ludlow Food festival. Very sweet for a dabinett, clean tasting, slightly syrupy but a cool refreshing blend. Nowhere near as bad as the yanks below make out.
