Reviewed from notes.
Most of the time this was poured into a pint glass but twice it was poured into a stange. There wasn’t any difference between the two.
The appearance had a gentle hazy golden color with a light transparency about it. There was a small white head that left some trickling lacing.
The smell had some light sweet German malts along with a light underscore of lemon and a touch of sweet corn.
The taste was mainly sweet through the previously mentioned flavors.
On the palate, this one sat fairly light and had a good sessionability about it. The carbonation finishes somewhat harsh.
Overall, I say it holds itself to being a good American styled kolsch worthy of having again but considering where I live and the distro I don’t mind sticking with Alaskan’s Summer Ale.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange color. Big fluffy white head. Light toasted malt aroma with a touch of spicy hops. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has a touch of sourness in the palate. Very nice malt backbone, but a touch lacking in the hops. Overall, a decent tasting ale that just misses on the hops you expect in an IPA.

Pours a hazy garnet color with a minimal beige head. Sweet toasted malt aroma has notes of agave syrup. Soft toasted malt flavor has a touch of caramel and vanilla bean. Slightly spicy with a hint of cinnamon on the palate. Overall, just average.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a dense black color with a small tan head. Aroma is of roasted malt with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and licorice. Bittersweet roasted malt flavor has obvious notes of cinnamon and dark fruits. Finish has big resiny hops. Not much pumpkin flavor, as it gets overpowered by the bigness of the stout.

Draft. Light golden body, frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, straw, raw grain, floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Some huskiness, raw grain taste in the finish leaving it not as clean as it should be for a pils.
