Can thanks to Jim. Appearance - golden to copper with generous lacing. Nose - nice grapefruit and biscuit notes. Taste - more pithy this time, less grapefruit fruit, more pith. Lightly metallic and some biscuit, almost burnt bread in fact. Palate - creamy and light bodied. The finish is a bit too bitter for me. Overall - decent, though the nose promises more than the taste delivers. --- Beer merged from original tick of Atlas Nimbus on 15 Jul 2012 at 11:26

Cask @ Railway, Hebden Bridge. Dark golden with a creamy head. It has a stated enough ginger spice, not really sessionable, but not overbearing.

Keg at the Parcel Yard, Leicester. Light golden, clear with little head but lots if visible carbonation. Resinous, floral smell with suggestions of tropical fruit and library paste. Tastes sweet with more gluey notes and a hoppy bitterness in the finish. Astringent aftertaste. Heavy but not overpowering carbonation. Weird and not all that pleasant.

Hazed brown pour with a fine head. Ok lacing. Decent intensity in the aroma. Soft carbonation level and an ok balanced sweetness. Some more bitterness would have freshen it up. Toffee, some spices and fruity flavor.
