Can shared in London - picked up in the US. Pours clear, rich honey-gold with a creamy, white head. Kind of old school, , with crackery pale malts, pine needles, citrus peel. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly oily and warming on the finish, with more crackery pale malts, nipe of pine. Bitter aftertaste. Not bad.

Can split at L6, thanks to Leighton, 'Farewell New Ken' tasting 18/09/19. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is grassy, bitter orange, grapefruit, toasted grains. Taste comprises pineapple, grass, bitter orange, light caramel malts, toasted grains, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced grassy hop bitterness. Ok old skool leaner.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is murky/cloudy dark orange (tons of large white floaties) with tons of effervescent sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-plus width rocky, off-white foamy head with excellent retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is strong sweet malts along with pine/citrus hop contribution. Taste is cracker/bread with danky bitter as aroma. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick, frothy texture, soft carbonation, mild esophageal alcohol warmth and crisp, dry finish with lingering bitterness. Overall, the brewer mentions the malt flavor in the description so it should be no surprise that it figures prominently. Seems very retro/West Coasty. Not bad but has been done a million times and doesn't stand out.
