On tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The nose is lemon peel, banana, dough, and soda water. Sweet and citrusy, very light bitterness, and a light, tart zing. Medium body, very creamy and smooth. This is a very nice example of an American hefeweizen. Good, bright, citrusy aroma, and not overhopped. Smooth, and easy.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Muddy brown, with a small, off-white head. The nose is green apples, apricot, caramel, and white bread. Very sweet and fruity, with a light tartness. Medium to heavy body, smooth, creamy, and thick. This is a nice, interesting take on a Quad. It’s certainly not true to style, but it is a tasty and well made beer.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Black color, with a medium, beige head. The nose is coffee, vanilla, some molasses, and lots of booze. Sweet, roasty, with a light bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, chalky, and a little weak. This is a fun, whiskey-forward stout.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Pale yellow with no head. The nose is lemon peel, cloves, and a light floral aroma. Relatively dry and fairly bitter. Medium body, harsh feel, crisp, but with no carbonation. This is an interestingly flavored beer - dry and relatively refreshing.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Bronze color, with a beige ring. The nose is biscuit dough, lemon zest, light cherries, and honeysuckle. Fairly sweet, with a touch of bitterness to balance. Light to medium body, lightly acidic, creamy, and clean. This is a nice, complex, and lightly fruited beer. Nice and easy.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Pale yellow, and no real head. The nose is corn syrup, hay, and fake banana. Sweet and sticky, with only a touch of bitterness. Light body, oily, and thin. I know this was made this way by design, but it’s still pretty awful. The initial nose made me recoil. Nearly passable flavor.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub. Light copper color, with a small, tan head. The nose is honey, over-ripe apple, cloves, and syrup. Very sweet, with almost no bitterness. Light to medium body, crisp, and a little acidic. This is an overly sweet and simple dubbel. Could be darker, maltier, and more complex.

Pint at the brewpub. Black color, with a small, tan head. The nose is roasted malts, bitter chocolate, black coffee, light anise, and a touch of earthiness. Sweet and malty, with a significant bitterness that overpowers the sweetness. Medium body, chalky, and a little harsh. This is a solid, very aggressive porter. Pleasant roastiness, with good bitterness.

Bottle thanks to Bruce! Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is roast, chocolate, booze. Medium mouthfeel with rich malt, chocolate, and light bitterness. Good.
