(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2018) Paler amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, apricots and spices. Malty, slightly fruity taste with orange peel, apricots, caramel, candy sugar and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

Clear medium amber colour, good frothy beige head, half-way lasting. Aroma toasted malt, grain, caramel, hint of red fruit. Light taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, light spicy notes, light to medium body, oily texture. More like an amber ale bock but okay.

Tap at the Little Delirium Cafe, Amsterdam. Poured a clear dark brown with a a thin broken tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light smoke, big liqouirce. The flavour is moderate sweet with a roasty, dry charcoal, coffee, liqouirce, dark chocolate palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
