Bottle at home, bought at Archeon (Alphen). Pours bright unclear amber with white head. Sweet malts, caramel sugars, light floral and herbal hops on the high end, greasy and leathery bass notes, honey in the middle with some sage, gale, white raisans and custard or French Flan pudding. Quite sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body, quite malty and sugary, a tad sandy, soft carbonation.

Van de tap in de Brouwerij in Vleuten. Voor een blond bier iets te bitter, maar redelijk fris van smaak. Niet verkeerd, maar zeker niet het niveau van mijn favoriete wereldwijd bekende Blond bier.

Van de tap in De Brouwerij in Vleuten. Inderdaad een wat rode kleur, zou daar niet zo snel een bok uit halen. Niet te zoet, maar mis daardoor toch ook het idee van een bokbier. Aardig.

F: thin, tan, quick gone. C: coppery, hazy. A: malty, caramel, vaguely fruity, toast, sweet grassy. T: malty backbone, caramel, fruity, toast, almonds, dried fruits, dark cherries, medium to full body, low carbonation, not bad, bit too sweet and simple yet enjoyed, 25cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Jumbo Zaltbommel. Hazy light amber with a white head. Grainy rotten aroma. Sweet unfermented wort taste. Quite horrible at first but it gets less bad after a while.

50cl Bottle at Werkspoor De Leckere. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, rye, light roast. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, chocolate, rye, bittersweet finish. Light bodied. Decent.

F: thin, white, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, sweet herbal, orange peels, spicy, honey touch. T: malty backbone, herbal, honey, spicy, orange, bit harsh bitterness, yeasty, something like between Belgian ale and triple yet not good for saison style at all, hardly drinkable, medium body and lower carbonation, 25cl bottle from Beerwulf webshop.

50cl Bottle at Werkspoor De Leckere. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops, wheat, some tropical fruits. Flavour is light spicy, wheat, hoppy, citrus, floral, pineapple, decent hoppy bitter finish. Light bodied. Nice.

On tap at Werkspoor De Leckere. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of spices, liquorice root, star anise, light yeasty, malty, hay, some lemon. Flavour follows, light, dry, malty, with some earthy and sweet spices, bitter finish. Light bodied. Decent saison.
