Bottle at Jespers Tasting 02/02/2019 - fuzzy amber pour with a white head. Fruity and sweet malty, some caramel and toffee notes, yeasty, medium body, cognac soaked wooden accents into the spiced sweet malty close.

Bottle. Straight from the bottle. Some wheatiness, and some dirtiness. I could force myself to drink this, but prefer not to.

Flesje gedeeld met Benzai. Bleek geel bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. De geur is fruitig en hoppig. De smaak is fruitig van appelschil. Jammer dat de smaak snel weg trekt.

Really strong roast character, almost burnt, but not in a bad way. Clean finish, strong intense flavours. But somewhat thin body lacking a real complex full mouthfeel. Tastes a bit too straightforward & single dimensional. beerwulf online bottle

Thin creamy white head stayed on a hazy lemon coloured still body. Citrus, yeast & spice aroma. Medium to thin bodied, soft on the palate with a limp back. Sweet citrus, spices, pepper, yeast & chalk tastes with a slightly salty finish.

Bottle at home. Well I can be brief about this. Clear orange-golden color, small white head. Smell and taste are awful, grainy, buttery, a slight cardboardt touch to finish it off. Horrible.

Bottle @ home. Jet black color, decent sized dark brown colored head. Aroma is malts, quite heavy roast, a lot of liquorice and liquorice bitter. Flavor is similar, roast, again liquorice, bitter. Medium body, decent to medium carbonation. Ok.

Bottle at lombok. Aroma of bacon, meaty smoke, caramel and malt. Taste has bacon, rauchmalz, caramel, chocolate and some licorice. Nice surprise.

Thin off white head left a spotty cover on a dark orange coloured still body. Orange & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the palate & a cloying back. Sweet orange, spices, vegetation & clove tastes
