750mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of red wine upfront, Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Flavour brings out tannins, with light oak, light sourness, and Belgian yeast. Finishes with vanilla and a light acetic quality. Pretty solid albeit a bit muted.

Can from Total Wine in Lynnwood, WA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is quite floral. Med body or nearly. Flavor is floral hop over a decent caramel backbone. There’s a little hop bite, and it is bitter. Still the floral is the main thing. It’s a very hoppy beer that hasn’t NW harshness. Nice.

Grumbler purchase from Breeze-IN, Juneau AK.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving no lacing.
The smell definitely had the raspberry but nothing else showed any substantial activity.
The taste was sweet and acidic. If anything, the raspberry’s authentic. There’s a sharp acidic aftertaste leading into a strong acidic semi - dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. The wheat seemed barely there and no wheat bite as I normally expect from the style.
Overall, eh, not bad but perhaps not as balanced as I would have hoped for. Denali, if you add some more wheat to this, I betcha it would help balance it a bit more. I’d still have again.

Draft: Poured a rusty copper color. Huge citrus hops aroma that engulfed my nose. Nice meld of hops bitterness and caramel malt. Harsh enough, but very drinkable the same.

Draft: Poured a mahogany color. Aroma is nice funky wine that has seeped in from the barrels with dark fruit. Taste is winey bitter with a mild fruit and malt balance. Really digging this beer.
