Growler: Poured a dark black with red edges, the head was thin tan. Aroma is cocoa/bakers chocolate and coffee hints. Taste is bold roasted malts, light bitter chocolate, and edgy coffee.

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, spices, and a bit of brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, cloves, cardemomme, malt, over ripe fruits, and a bit of brettanomyces, leading to a dry, spicy, and a bit of tart finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

12 fl oz bottle. Poursalmost clear and golden brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, spiced and roasted breadish. Sweet, spiced and breadish. Perfumed and fruity.

clear brown smooth light brown head. aroma is quite spicy, brown cakes, malts, cristmas spices but not that sweet.flavor is slightly sourish, quite browncake spicy, malty.

Draft at GABBBf. Cloudy variegated amber color, thick brown head, good retention, solid lacing. Aroma of spiced apple skins and rhubarb. Taste is plums, raisins, dates,peacehs - a real fruit explosion. Good stuff.

Draft at GABBF. Murky variegated golden brown color, thick cream colored head. Aroma of vanilla and toffee. Taste has rich. Utterscotch, chocolate, toffee definitely a big beer.

Draft at GABBF. Almost black, beige head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste is similar. Decent stuff for a 6% stout.
