0.75 l bottle from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr). Clear, deep red with a few white bubbles on top of it. Sweetish, quite fruity and a little floral aroma of cherry, redcurrant and a touch of honey. Rather sweet, quite fruity-floral taste of cherry, honey and a touch of redcurrant, followed by a short, minimally tartish finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, flat. Really pleasant one, the cherry juice makes it a lot more interesting.

0.75 l bottle from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr). Clear, pale golden with a few white bubbles on top of it. Sweetish, gently floral and a little vinous aroma of honey, apple and some white grapes. Quite sweet, gently floral and a little vinous taste of honey, white grapes, some apple and light walnut, followed by a short, a bit dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, flat. Quite pleasant actually, decently balanced and quite aromatic.

0.75l from the Tittling REWE. Pale golden body, clear, no head. Bit spicy, pear touches in the aroma, honeyish, sweetish. Lean, sweetish, cherry notes, light cloves, light fruity notes other than that, ends dry. Okay, works even non-heated, clean, tasty.

330 ml clear screwcap bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Clear pale golden, pours moderately sparkling with a small and shortlived white head. Moderate aroma of Pink Lady dessert apples. Sweet flavour of said apples - Pink Lady is a popular eating apple, but probably not equally great as a single variety cider apple. Nice enough to drink, though.

0.75 l bottle from 'LIDL' (Wyk auf Föhr). Clear, golden with a thin, slightly fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little woody, quite fruity aroma of ripe apple, some oak and light walnut. Quite sweet, minimally sourish, rather fruity taste of apple juice, ripe apple, some walnut and hints of honey, followed by a short, minimally tart, a little woody finish. Thin to medium body, hardly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable but too sweet for my liking, not bad though.

Backlog June 2015. Almost clear red body with just a hint of a fast-disappearing white head. Rather strong honey aroma with flowers, red berries and vinous alcohol. Taste is sweet and fruity mead, flowers, light spicy and alcohol. Fine body and same aftertaste. Quite sweet, but better than expected.

Bottle, somewhat aged at this point. Golden shine. Honey, floral, light bubblegum notes. Medium body, sticky mouthfeel, thin finish. Lightly oxidized honey, floral, sugary, a bit wax, spices, light citric finish.

First time having Honig Glühwein. It's quite good warm! The alcohol fumes really stand out but maybe cuz that's cuz I heat it in a pot and serve it in a wine glass.
