Pint can from Festival Northland, 1/30/25. Dark brown, large tan head, average retention. Aroma of peanut butter, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, roast, salt. Well balanced, slick.

Aromas are malt, citrus, caramel and a touch floral. Flavors are similar to nose, a touch more sweet than bitter with good carbonation. Body is a bit chewy and finish follows flavors. Good drinking beer.

355ml can. Pours a clear amber with a medium, foamy, short lived, beige head that laces nicely. Mild aroma of toasted caramel malt, nuts and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, grapefruit, raisin and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A flavourful Amber Ale. Not bad.

Aromas in the can are mainly hefeweizen with banana which goes well with the beer style. In the glass is similar, adding in a touch of cinnamon. Flavors are similar to nose with the heavyweizen prominent stacked with the banana and the hint of cinnamon. Better than expected. But I don't plan on getting another.

Aromas are dusty resin hops with a little citrus and MJ. Flavors are similar to nose with good carbonation and balance between sweet, bitter and tang. Very slight sweet finish. Full-bodied and chewy. Not bad but nothing special.

Aromas are dark malt, Belgian yeast and a little bit of raisins. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, on the sweet side with a little bitter in the finish. Not double fermented. Nothing special.

12oz can. A pretty unimpressive offering from Hinterland. Off flavors. With nothing to hind behind a lot of flaws come out. Should be a crusher...as it is it is just poor brewing. Not good.

Aromas are toast, dark malt, tree bark. Flavors are similar to nose, I didn't notice much chocolate. Good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Nice peanut butter beer.
