The aromas are standard classic imperial stout of toasty, roasty coco a with a hint of black patent and barrist hint of raspberry. Flavors are very much like nose, lightly sweet up front with the raspberry still there and growing, dry bitterness in the finish along with a touch metallic.

I don't know where these guys get off saying that the traditional wit beers in Belgium are boring but even if they were this is certainly no improvement. In fact just the opposite. One and done.

The aromas are slightly oxidized citrus, resin and pineapple hops with some tree bark and wet grain. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose with a nice balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. A little floral in there too. Good body and finish.

12 ounce bottle from Festival Northland, 12/11/20. Mostly clear, clearer than the style should be. Large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of wheat, spice, orange. Taste is spice, wheat, orange, grapefruit. Medium bodied, lingering spice. This is a fairly traditional wit that claims to be crazy and nor boring. As Peter Griffin would say, it insists on itself. Not bad.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Appleton, 11/29/20. Near black, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, earth. Taste is roast, chocolate, vanilla. Full bodied, well balanced. Booze is mildly present but its not offputting. Overall pretty simple but pretty damned good. Exceptional.

Pint can thanks to Drake! Slightly hazy gold with a soft off-white head. Pine, light citrus nose - somewhat faint, not great. Pine, sweat, citrus peel, resin, melon. Meh.

Can thanks to Drake! Hazy, but just barely, large off-white head. Grapefruit, lemon, orange peel nose... a bit musty. Flavor is lime peel, lemon zest, chalk, chardonnay.

12 ounce can from Woodman's Oak Creek, 9/12/20. Clear vibrant gold, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of lime, tequila, and a buttery note I presume is from the oak. Taste is grapefruit, agave, lime, oak. Medium bodied. Could be better, but buying it was not a mistake @drpimento. ;)

Fragrant aromas of Amber malt lime and a hint of tequila. Flavors are similar to nose, no sign of hops anywhere. The qualities don't go well together. Buying this beer was a mistake.
