Many thanks to Minutemat for this bottle. 7.0%. Fresh and astringent beginning. Not too sweetish, not too dry. Lots of tannins there, fruity with sweetish hints. Nice dry and astringent aftertaste, refreshing fruity with a nice dry perry aftertaste. Great and interesting with lots of depth.

Sample @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Arancia viva, torbida, schiuma assente. Al naso sentori di succo di mela, stalla, leggero acetico, nota vinosa. In bocca è più strutturato rispetto ad altri sidri di Gwatkin, dolce con finale acido contenuto, tart, astringente. Corpo medio, carbonazione leggera. Non male.

Pours clear blonde, no real head. Smell is dry, intense apples. taste is sweet-ish, very dry. full mouthfeel. This dry of ciders is not what I prefer, but this particular one is OK, still. very low carbonation. Not bad.

Half pint @ Shrewsbury Steam Rally ’17. Pours a deep orange, lightly misty. Aroma of good medium-sweet apple fruit. Taste is moderately sweet, with a prominent tang boosted by a robust alcohol strength. Good fruit presence, perhaps lighter than expected, soft tannic fuzz. Not bad at all.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 1. 08/08/2017.. A hazed pink peach coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is big rustic funk, spicy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rustic grains, apple, woody tannin. Funky tang. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation dung. Weird. Really funky.
