16oz tap pour at the Beach Hut Deli in Mission Viejo on 5th January 2023. Clean and clear golden body, white bubbly head. Tropical fruit nose and taste, more citrusy than anything else, decent malt action and some piney hints for balance, liked it.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear gold with a large white head that turned foamy and laced a bit. Aroma is - quite a mixture. Lots of floral and tropical for sure. Med body or better. Flavor is well towards dry, tho also well towards juicy. Very bitter but not harshly so. It's too complex for any attempt of me to parse would be useful. Doesn't taste like turpentine tho. :) A truly exquisite beer.

473 ml can. Pours an opaque dark orange with light head. Aromas of pithy orange with a bit of mashed tropical fruit and toasted malts. Flavors of dry oranges, bitter pineapple and biscuity malts. Can is a year old... So it's an old Hazy. I wish breweries would clearly mark the style. In this case the label says India Pale Ale in bold and in very tiny font, not easily read in the store indicates New England Style. Points deducted...

Can 35.5cl @home poured into a shaker. Hazy deep golden colour, loose frothy white head, dissipating slowly, fair lacing. Aroma pale malts, mango, grapefruit, pine resin. Taste medium bitter and sweet, malty, grapefruit, light mango, pine resin, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry bittersweet aftertaste, lingering fruitiness, spicy notes, well-made, very nice.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is bready grainy malt with a little fresh cut hay. Flavor is a clean white bread malt with some lemon hops. Finish is clean and gone in a second. This was a pretty good American helles.

35cl blik van Beer Republic Advent #7. Zwarte kleur, beige-bruine kraag. Gebrande mout, gebrande pinda’s, in de smaak meer caramel en chocolade, als vloeibare Snickers, maar minder zoet. Iets kunstmatig, maar wel lekker.

#7 Beer Republic advent calendar. Murky black with a foamy head. Lots of peanut butter, chocolate, toffee, citrus, caramel, vanilla. Mild dry bitterness, chocolate sweetness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, soft carbonated, dry peanut buttery sweet finish. Very nice, not too overly sweet, still dry and balanced.
