Description
Launched in 2012 by by Thomas Vogel, Dave Mobley, and brewmaster Troy Smith, Belching Beaver Brewery evolved from a desire to make great beer and have a ‘Dam Good Time’ doing it. The award-winning craft beer company is focused on two things: First, have a brand that offers quality craft beer, while also being whimsical and fun to inspire good times. Each Belching Beaver beer release carries its own individual style and personality. Second, make beer for everyone and all palates. Our San Diego Brewery hosts 5 different locations serving craft beer you're going to love, of which the Oceanside Brewhouse is the production brewery.

On tap at CBC, Covent Garden on 12th August 2022. Rated as a novelty ale. Impenetrable sepia brown with pale tan foam and spot lacing. Explosive, rich and intense peanut butter, bitter chocolate and roastiness in aroma and liquid pass. A lasting finish reflecting the aforesaid flavour profile. Medium bodied with a smooth yet engaging texture. Exquisite.

The premise is interesting, I enjoy a good imperial stout, time to move along. The pint can I have says it was canned on 12/14/21. Pulling the tab and pouring inside of my Great Heights tulip glass. A fine look, black-brown in color with a superb, mocha brown top of very small bubbles. The scent definitely goes the ice cream direction. The drink is good, not great like I hoped. I taste strawberry, chocolate and vanilla, grant you that but limited, along with whole grain bread. The feeling is a bit thin, unfortunate. Ambitious undoubtedly, not life changing though.

--Canned, thanks Bearbeer! -- Dark brown, rich head. Reeks of boiled milk and peanut butter. Very sweet with medium to full body and sticky mouthfeel. Sticky caramel, cinnamon and boiled milk, lots of peanut butter. Revolting and cloying. Totally undrinkable.

Belching Beaver No Worries IPA West Coast IPA 6.2% Mellow brassy gold with a rocky thick off-white head and huge woodsy piney hop bouquet. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is very woodsy pine with some sweet malt notes and perhaps hints of citrus. Quite an old school IPA.

Maybe a return of an earlier beer. Light yellow body with lasting white head. Herb aroma. Malt taste with an herb skin. Crisp finish.
