Description
Launched in 2012 by by Thomas Vogel, Dave Mobley, and brewmaster Troy Smith, Belching Beaver Brewery evolved from a desire to make great beer and have a ‘Dam Good Time’ doing it. The award-winning craft beer company is focused on two things: First, have a brand that offers quality craft beer, while also being whimsical and fun to inspire good times. Each Belching Beaver beer release carries its own individual style and personality. Second, make beer for everyone and all palates. Our San Diego Brewery hosts 5 different locations serving craft beer you're going to love, of which the Oceanside Brewhouse is the production brewery.

Unfassbares Erdnuss-Aroma in der Nase. Im Trunk kommt Schoko hinzu, süß, spät Zartbitter, leicht röstig, komplex aber sehr süffig. Superlecker.

The Aromas are tart, spicy, Floral and maybe some sort of fruit. Flavors are like nose, quite tired and dry with the barest hint of sweet. Strong carbonation and good body with a tart finish. Can't drink a whole 12 oz bottle of this.

0,5l from bottle at Sanders, shared by me. Bottled 03/06/2020. Black color, small coffee colored head. Smells peanut butter, vanilla, nutty, cinnamon, spices, very nice smell, very peanut butter forward. Full body, light carbonation. Tastes peanut butter, earthy, peppery, vanilla, jammy, stone fruits, peaches, spices, some oak, whisky. Finishes dry with jammy notes, stone fruits and spices. Bit weird one, almost a tad on the sour side. Quite drinkable, but expected a bit more 8,4,7,3,15

500 ml bottle, bottled 03/06/20, shared by Werckmeister, thanks! Black body, with a small, creamy, dark beige head. Aroma with lots of peanut butter, chocolate, caramel, moderate whiskey barrel. Tastes of whiskey barrel, tobacco, chocolate, moderate peanut butter, dark fruits. Medium, quite creamy moutfheel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes moderate roasty, medium sweet, spicy, with moderate whiskey barrel, chocolate, dark fruits. Very nice. Lovely nose, with lots of peanut butter, while the taste has more whiskey and fruit notes. Not oustanding, but a comfortable, not too heavy sipper. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

A surprising discovery at the biggest local supermarket, I have a pint can of Hazers Gonna Haze to taste. Using my Great Heights snifter for this brew, I make the pour and see a shiny, hazy, medium yellow body along with a quickly diminishing pure white head. The scent bears up well with citrus and a bit of pine. Now I get to take a drink. Not bad, easily the best ipa of any kind I’ve had for quite a while. Orange peel, hops, a small varnish effect and a pleasant touch of tangerine sweetness. A nice fullness is that is usually indicative of an abv higher than the 6.6% on the label. Wonder if I’ll ever see this one again.

Hazy yellow gold with a decent white head. Mandarin, some wet grass and almost a spicy note. Mandarin and a touch of that spicy note. Odd.

475ml blik van Van Erp Groningen. Troebel goudgeel bier, witte kraag. Citrus, wat perzik, verbena, zacht fruitig en citrusvruchten, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. Zeer smaakvol en doordrinkbaar. En Ohms is een topplaat.
