9th July 2016: on-tap at the brewpub with the RBESG guys. Oh dear, this didn’t go down well with me at all: a real sour puss of a beer: no thank you. I have tried to score it objectively.

9th July 2016: on-tap in the Brewpub with the RBESG guys. Nice, low alcohol Porter, poured deep brown with a red hue, on top a tan coloured head. Malts in both the nose and taste, as you’d expect in a Porter: some chocolate and coffee notes within the roasted maltiness. Decent.

9th July 2016: on-tap at the brewpub with the RBESG guys. Light haze to the golden orange body, weak white head. Citrus notes with a yeasty, herbal aroma in the nose: taste similar on a mild malty base. Liked it.

9th July 2016: on-tap at the brewpub with the RBESG guys. Jet black with a beige head. Malts rule the roost here, as in all Imp Stouts, this one had an aroma and taste full of chocolate and vanilla flavours alongside dark berries and coffee notes. Smooth and easy to drink: didn’t try and be too alcoholic either, liked it.

9th July 2016: on-tap at the brewpub with the RBESG guys. Clear golden pour with a decent white head on top. Mild citrus notes in the nose and taste of this pretty ordinary blend. Nothing wrong with it, just a bit timid compared to their other beers I tried on the day.

9th July 2016: on-tap at the brewpub with the RBESG guys. Slight haze to the golden pour, white topping. Citrus lead in both the nose and taste with mango flavours being a major player in the taste. Fairly dry and bitter finish, thought this a decent IPA.
