Had this in Texas, end of January 2020. Poured a hazy golden-amber colour with a small off-white head, leaving a ring. Oranges in the nose mostly and some mild grassy hops. Mouthfeel was kind of juicy, but taste is not as much, as hoped for. Grassier, hoppier, but milder overall. Well, not what I expected. Fine to try once.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Kroger in Denton, TX. Pours a clear light gold color with a white head and very good retention. Very little lacing. Indistinct aroma. Tastes like fake cherry cough syrup mixed with beer with a weird tart lime finish. Cherry and lime flavored beer? Nailed it, but why? It just doesn't work for me. Very artificial.

12 oz. can purchased at Kroger in Denton, TX. Pours a mostly clear gold color with an off-white head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Pineapple and hops aroma. The taste matches the nose. Hops dominant bitter flavor that's mellowed by light juicy pineapple notes. No coconut flavor. Medium body. Meh.

Bottle. A- Caramel, graham cracker, marshmallow, mild chocolate. A- Brown color, clear liquid, tan head. T- Graham cracker, chocolate, caramel, burnt sugar. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish. O- Smelled just like a smore. The taste was there but not as exact as the aroma. The taste was a tad watery and a tinge of iron in there as well. If the taste matched the aroma this would be killer.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice, three to four centimetre tall light tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, light coffee, a dash of chocolate and bunches upon bunches of caramelised sugars, toffee, earth and a lot of sweetness in the nose - especially near the end. Medium-bodied; Assertive lactose and milky, creamy notes show at first with some nice light chocolate dashes along with some substantive earthy malts and all ending with a soft and very subdued grain note. Medium-bodied; Strong earthy and super nutty malts show at first with a pronounced bitterness with some noticeable chocolate and somehow an even sweet, marshmallow-like flavour that shows a caramelised and slightly burnt flavour of sugars in the mix - odd, but done fairly nicely. Aftertaste shows the light sweetness from the caramel and chocolate with a light earthiness and some nuts as well, but not much of a malt body at all. Overall, a decent and relatively strong sweet stout with a light dash of earth and chocolate on the end that shows well throughout and leaves the mouth feeling that a s'more was close by - in a good way for the brewery! I'm usually not a huge fan of their products, but this one delivered in what it was trying to do, and somehow (I'm not sure how they got those flavours in the mix), the beer tasted like a s'more and was very nice throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Giant Food in Falls Church, Virginia on 13-January-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 03-March-2020.
