Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 8/03/10. Amber with a slight off-white head. Bready malt aroma with a whiff of TCP. Flavour was similar, with some cereal malts, anti-septic cream and a touch of green herbs, before a bitter finish. A bit strange, but drinkable.

Cask, handpump at the Royal Oak, Oakley 28-02-10 Pours copper stunning clarity and with a few white bubbles around the edge. There is a little bit of chemical taint in here as though some tiny bit of residude from pipe cleaner? may have still been present when this was poured (we were the first in the pub) Despite this the beer would probably have struggled to have been anything better than ok, fairly average, bitter, some sweetness, below average.
