33cl bottle. Dark brown pour with a light tan head that gives way to a very thin lacing that sticks around for a long time. Smells of roasted malts, smoke, caramel and milk chocolate. Tastes bitter-sweet, with notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, dark chocolate, pine resin, roasted malts and caramel.

Bottle @ home. Hazy orange color, medium to full sized white to off-white head. Aroma is lightly malts, very fruity, hops and fruit hops. Lovely. Taste lightly malts, again full of hops and quite fruity again, pleasant tropical fruit in both aroma and flavor. Suitable medium body and carbonation. Very nice!

Cask @ New Brew-m, Burnley. Extremely dark red with a creamy off-white head. Has a smooth and surprisingly easy-drinking texture for its strength, which certainly isn’t evident. Lightly smoked in its nose, it’s less apparent in taste but retains a pleasant sweetness here.

Sampled @ Pint Winterbierfestival Gouda, 2016. Lightly hazy dark reddish to red-brown color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy, flavor as well. Total surprise. Did absolutely not expect this. Like it though.
