440ml can. Clear golden with a frothy white head, good retention. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, white wine, gooseberry, something earthy and a bit dank/weedy. Taste is citrusy, grapefruit, orange, white wine, tart gooseberry, earthy pine, resin, dank, herbal, and some caramel, finishing bitter. Medium bodied.
Solid westie pale, just lacking a bit more bitterness for me.

Tap 73 Enid Street. A mostly clear pale gold coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, earthy grains, damp hay, grass, little flabby on the nose. Flavour is composed of super crisp, tart citrus, pinch of salt, grass,, hay. Firm drying bitterness. Not much to it. Bit chalky in the finish.

Pours clear gold with a decent white cap. Light malts, hint of citrus fruit, ripe stone fruit, a little grain. Quite light and OK. Not my favourite.

Can at home picked up from 73 Enid Street. A deep dark red purple coloured pour with a lasting dark pink purple head. Aroma is dark and dry mixed berries, cranberry, blueberry sweetness, blackcurrant, jammy dark berries. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, ribena, vimto, dark and dry berries, blackcurrant and blueberry, white sugars, hint herbal notes. Hints of schloer in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, mellow fizz Pretty tasty, quite unusual.

Can from A Can Shop at home 12/05/2026 Fruity notes of melon and peach, touch of pineapple, some citrusy lemon and orange, nice and juicy, light malty backing, dank sided hoppy finish. Tasty and refreshing.

440ml can. An atrocious looking golden pour chock full of enormous floaties, white head, big flakes settled after about 20 minutes but smaller sediment remained floating. Truly disgusting appearance.
Aroma very floral, herbs, mild citrus zest. Taste is likewise very floral, more noticeable zesty lemon and lime, light bitterness. Medium bodied.
Not hoppy enough to warrant the West Coast label, nor is the flavour profile that of a westie, combined with its shocking appearance this is rare miss from Cloudwater, albeit a drinkable one.
