Sample (thanks omhper!). Deep coppery amber colour with a mediumsized, beigeish brown head. Aroma is alcohol, nutty, some wooden and chocolaty tones with a nice spicy yeasty edge to it. Flavour is chocolate, some spicy yeasty tones with mild alcohol sweetness, syrup and some nutty tones.

Can from Mitra Coevorden. Pretty sweet with ripe fruits, orange, some pine, malt. Medium bitter and sweet. Anything but a Neipa, more like an unremarkable sweet IIPA.

Pours an (almost) clear golden colour and a rocky off white head with good retention. Aroma's of sweet fruit and herbal hops. Retronasal it's sweet, fruity, a bit resinous. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry, light moderate bitter. Disappointing, not (at all) true to the style.

--Bottled (2022 vintage), from Just In Beer, Groningen. -- Aroma of dark sugar, cinnamon and dates. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Brown sugar, marzipan and hay. Warming mid bitter finish.

Aus der Flasche im 2023-07 getrunken. Bei dieses Quadrupel ist der Fasseinfluss sehr deutlich und kommt etwas bitter daher. Vielleicht was es noch sehr nass. Allerdings hätte ich nie auf ein Bourbon getippt, sondern auf ein Oloroso Sherry. Kein schlechtes Bier aber hier fehlt die Balance.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een dun bruinig schuim. Het heeft een rokerige en turf achtige geur. De smaak is vol rokerig, gebrand, turf en koffie.

Bottled (from De Biertonne). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is alcohol, some fruits, mild sweet malts as well as some toffee. Flavour is toffee, alcohol and some slight fruitiness. Simple and straight forward Strong Blonde.
