Oh boy, what a beer! Pours with a large, thick, creamy, foamy, frothy, tan head with brown highlights that settles right down to a ring around the edge of the glass and no lace. Color is an opaque very dark brown. Aroma is complex with different spices, malts, cocoa, roasty, and toffee. Flavor is very similar and adding to that some fruitiness and some bittersweet flavors. Lots going on. Body is excellent and so is carbonation. Finish is a little boozy and fairly long with almost all the characteristics hanging tough. Good sipping beer although it’s good enough to take some mouthfulls, but the alcohol gets a little too bold. So, not quite a session brew. Update: aromas are cocoa, roast, dates in molasses. Easy sweetness balanced by just enough bitter and soft carbonation. Supermelo. Aged extremely well.

Can. Almost clear dark golden with a finger-thick white head. Some lacing. Lightly malty aroma, bread, caramel notes, with citrusy, piney hops. Mostly hoppy flavor, with some malts in the back. Thin on the palate, a bit low carbonation. Very gentle bitterness. Medium length citrusy, fruity finish. Sure a respectable alcohol free beer. 250110

After the pour, the beer started cascading like Guinness and had a very fine creamy small tan head with no lace. Color is an opaque brownish black with red highlights. Aroma is excellent with roast malt cocoa coffee pine fruit eucalyptus. Flavor doesn’t have quite so much going on but similar and still very good. Body is good. Finish is like flavor.
Update from an aged bottle. Done very well. Perfect sweet to bitter with excellent carbonation. Just right spiciness, very drinkable. And they have more.

Hazed golden and a fine head.
Fine intensity in the aroma.
Not to sweet and a decent bitterness.
Citric, pale malt, herbal, mild fruity and some pine in the flavor
