22oz bomber poured into a snifter. Pours black with a half finger of dark brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and dark fruits. Taste is light bitter. Mostly coffee and dark chocolate with some fermented dark fruit. Full bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, great. I would love to try an aged version.

On tap at the Radiohead concert in Seattle last night. Yes, I rated a beer at a concert. I am that beergeeky. Aroma is corny, grainy, dull. Pours clear gold with a quickly dissipating medium white head. Flavor is pale lager with a bit more hop character. Lightly sweet and finishes faintly bitter. Tastes a little grainy. Starts out highly carbonated but goes completely flat towards the end of the glass. The brewery claims this has more "soul" than the major brewers, but I would be hard-pressed to differentiate this from those macro beers in a blind taste test.

Orangey-amber. Fruity and herbal hop aroma. Toasty and buttery with earthy notes. Wasn’t expecting the butter, and it definitely takes away from the beer.

Golden amber. Relatively bright. Earthy and a little buttery. Nice crisp bitterness, and again with a little diacetyl. It doesnt ruin the beer though.

Bottle purchased and consumed at Brewforia Beer Market, Meridian, ID. Was glad to see an offering from near my old stomping grounds, NW Washington. Faint woody aroma with little in the way of fresh hop notes. A nearly clear rich copper color with a faint soapy head that managed to maintain a skin on the top. Sharp bitter flavor but woody with not much citrusy or piney character. A nice heavy palate. Bold, bitter and heavy duty, but missing some of what I like from my favorite IPA s

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy amber color, creamy head. Deep hop aroma, fruity, caramelly, malty, earthy, with manure. Good bodied; strong caramel flavor, some toffee, and a vein of more roasted malts; only some light fruitiness from the strong hopping; there is a moderate sugar residue; the final is maybe even too bitter. Powerful.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a very slight beige head. Aroma is clean mild caramel with some nice resin. Med+ body. Flavor is a submerged caramel backbone with some resin and floral hop - lots of hop. It’s very smooth, very sophisicated. Would really like to see if they could turn this into a DIPA and maintain the wondrousness of this.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a tan head. Aroma of oats, molasses, vanilla and light espresso. Flavour is a bit fruity, but it could be the combo of vanilla and molasses; there is a noticeable hop profile on the finish. Excellent.
