Bottle - Tropical fruits and some resin. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Light tropical fruits, big hit of leafy bitterness and a resinous and orange finish. Not bad, but nothing special. I have the feeling fresh this would rate much better.

22oz bottle, poured a translucent dark orange color with a large foamy white head - lots of good lacing on this one. Aroma was nice resin pine, with tart citrus grapefruit notes. Caramel notes, floral notes. Flavor was a nice pine, with juicy citrus notes. Tasty.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Roasted malt and dark fruits round of the flavor. Bitter burnt finish. Nice.

Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, grainy malt and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, biscuit malt and caramel. The finish is hoppy with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Decent all around.

Crisp copper coloured body with a one centimetre tall tan head with a lot of movement in the body - nice. Aroma of bread, yeast, grassy and herbal hops and a decent amount of malt. Medium-bodied; Assertive resinous and medicinal hop flavours with a lot of alpha acids and bitterness, some metallic twang going on at the end and a deep malty finish. Aftertaste shows a good hop bite with a pungent kick of alcohol and metal and a little malt. Overall, a nice IPA with perhaps more of a metal and bitter flavour than hoppy, but good none-the-less. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington on 11-January-2013 for US$4.99 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 19-February-2013.

Bottle from Community Food Co-op - N Forest St, Bellingham, WA
Amber color with orange hue; medium sized creamy head, persistent. Nice hoppy aroma, strong, fruity and resiny; it has a mild but nice manure touch. Good toffee flavor, but with a bit of chewyness too; arrogant hopping, carrying loads of resins and some fruits, providing a mild earthy vein, and leading to a very long final; yet, it has a few notes of freshness.
Bold IPA, with a peculiar character.

Draught at Naked City, Seattle, as Delrio Lager
Pale blond color, hazy. Very nice aroma, delicate, corn and cereals, crispy. The flavor tends to be similar but less interesting, with a papery edge; dry mouthfeel, with correct bitterness.
A respectable Lager; and at this gravity, a good choice.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Bright amber color. Nice aroma, with some malt, nuts, butter. Very good flavor, nutty, toffeish, but also buttery, with bold bitterness. Very pleasant.
