Description
Raphaël Mettler and his team have been brewing beer with a passion since 2003, and their enthusiasm is eminently contagious: the Trois Dames beers from Ste-Croix challenge the taste buds and flatter the eye, and that is exactly what makes them original. We believe in making a top-notch product, the reason why we carefully select fresh ingredients.

750ml bottle. Clear, brown-ish, ruby colour with average, frothy to macropore, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, light beige head. Vinous fruity, oaky aroma with BA support, notes of blue grapes, red wine, some Cognac, a touch of bramble, blackcurrant, morello, some spicy aspects. Taste is mildly tart, dry, vinous fruity, oaky, notes of blue grapes, red wine, a touch of bramble, blackcurrant, morello, very mild funky, yeasty spicy hints of black pepper; whiffs of Cognac in the finish. More oily than watery texture, minimally astringent palate, fine, soft, still slightly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, mild, balanced, controlled tartness - pretty good, just not my preferred style.
