Description
Raphaël Mettler and his team have been brewing beer with a passion since 2003, and their enthusiasm is eminently contagious: the Trois Dames beers from Ste-Croix challenge the taste buds and flatter the eye, and that is exactly what makes them original. We believe in making a top-notch product, the reason why we carefully select fresh ingredients.

Flaska drucken på Beerditch. Gyllengul, disig vätska med högt vitt skum. En ganska stiltypisk saison åt det lite syrligare hållet. Citrus, örter, jäst, vete. Ganska torr. Pigg och trevlig

750ml bottle. Rosé wine-like colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Tart-ish, fruity, minimally tangy aroma, notes of raspberry with earthy and fruit acidic aspects, tangy overtones with a touch of mustard seed. Taste is tart-ish, fruity, fruit acidic, notes of raspberry, tangy hints of mustard seed, a touch of brine. Watery texture, minimally astringent palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Rather clean, simple, refreshing - OK.

Bottle from my brother! Pours a dark clear brown with a smallish head. Aroma is malty, chocolate, dark malts, some spices. Medium body. Flavour is malty and somewhat sweet. Lots of dark malts, especially chocolate comes through, some nutty notes and a touch of spice. Finish is rather long and very interesting, lots of dark malt complexity. This beer does not shout out loads of different flavours but showcases the malts used. And it does it well. A pleasant winter beer.
