Description
Eik & Tid (Oak & Time) is a farmhouse beer inspired brewery in Oslo, Norway dedicated to making sour and wild beer the nordic way.

Our entire brew setup is customized to fit the raw beer brewing process. By modifying surplus dairy tanks from Norwegian farms, we where able to get what we needed at an affordable cost. We also like the added bonus of upcycling derelict equipment instead of getting new made and shipped half across the globe.

Tap at Valhalla. Hazy golden-orange body, off-white head. Unattractive aroma, DMS and lactic acid. DMS, vegetables, and solid sourness, okay sweetish touches. Meh, okay.

Bottle. An unclear dark candy red beer with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is sourish, funky, lightly spiced and with a good dash of raspberry and blueberry. Dusty, herbal. It's full-bodied, sour and acidic, with a good herbal and foresty touch. Raspberry, blueberry, hints of cherry, some spiced, herbal notes and a touch of lemon in the flavor. Long finish. A quite challenging one, but tasteful. Too much vinegar for me though. 230128
