Description
Eik & Tid (Oak & Time) is a farmhouse beer inspired brewery in Oslo, Norway dedicated to making sour and wild beer the nordic way.

Our entire brew setup is customized to fit the raw beer brewing process. By modifying surplus dairy tanks from Norwegian farms, we where able to get what we needed at an affordable cost. We also like the added bonus of upcycling derelict equipment instead of getting new made and shipped half across the globe.

Bottled. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is lactic acid, rhubarb, some salty and mild citrusy tones. Flavour is pretty much following the same pattern. Sharp around the edges, but actually not totally horrible this one. The acidity/sourness is on the verge to give an infected feel.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, small quickly vanishing white head. Aroma is lactic acid, citrus, some smoky tones with mild green apple skins. Flavour is aiidic and very sour with some smoke and mild citrusy tones. Very strange, but the sharp acidic sourness often found in Eik & Tid ruins it all.

Superficial sample from Gunnfryds ticker party. Red body without any head. Aroma of red berries dominated by cherry, some red berry juice notes as well. Taste is like acidic red berry juice, cherry and raspberry. Medium body and rather acidic aftertaste. Boring and unbalanced.

Far to dry and acidic for my stomach The yeast has killed everything Clear golden in the glass and a fine head Decent intensity in the aroma Mostly yeast (not the usual cucumber feeling the Eik & Tid beer normally have) oak and some faint citric feeling in the flavor [Bottle at Kokkeekolektivet in Halden, Norway]

Klar gulbrun med bobler. (Hvis du ikke velger å snurre på flaska for å få med smakene som ligger i bunnen av flasken).Ikke skum. Lukter malt og sitron. Meget forfriskende i sola. Smaker lys malt, sitron, appelsin. Akkurat passe syrlig.

Bottle. A red, unclear and headless beer. Sour fruity aroma with cherry and some raspberry. Wood hints. Some raisin. It's medium bodied and semi-tart, with berries dominating the flavor. Raspberry and cherry, some almond and wood. Not much interesting going on here. 230422

From bottle at MB2 13.04.23. Hazy ruby. No head. Acid aroma and taste with sour cherries. The taste of cherries is nice, with hints of almond and marzipan, but the acidity is perhaps a bit one-dimensional.
