Description
Eik & Tid (Oak & Time) is a farmhouse beer inspired brewery in Oslo, Norway dedicated to making sour and wild beer the nordic way.
Our entire brew setup is customized to fit the raw beer brewing process. By modifying surplus dairy tanks from Norwegian farms, we where able to get what we needed at an affordable cost. We also like the added bonus of upcycling derelict equipment instead of getting new made and shipped half across the globe.

Draught. Reddish amber colour with a small pink head. Aroma is raspberries, grains, hay, some sour notes along with mild yeast. Flavour is citrus, some raspberries, hay, grains, mild yeast as well as some slight strange tartish sour tones. Easy drinking, but has an edge which feels like oops, something messed up here.

Bottle, 75cl. An unclear pale yellow colored cider, still and headless. Quite a lot of sediments in the bottle. The aroma has a touch of vinegar, but it's mostly on the fruity side. Some booze and wood, quite a lot of unripe apple. It's sour, tart and nicely carbonated, with a fruit driven flavor. Mostly apple of course, but also a vegetal hint, some lemon and a hint of vinegar. Sour, fruity, tart finish. 221214

Bottle. An unclear candy-ish red beer with a pinkish head of moderate size. The aroma has a touch of vinegar, with some berry, raspberry or blueberry perhaps, a generic fruity touch and some lemon notes. It’s sour, tart and medium bodied, with a decent carbonation. Berries, sourness, lemon hints and a good dash of vinegar in the flavor. Lasting sour, berry-ish finish. A decent one, but a bit vinegarish and straight forward. 221126
