750ml bottle into schooner glass. Distant hop nose. Pale yellow beer with diminishing head. High carbonation. Really zingy on the tongue. Some fruity hop notes, a mild malt finish & that’s about it. Inoffensive.

In this part of Australia, pale lagers seem to rule. Can’t tell one from the other, nondescript and bland.

Mass market lager, not much else to say, blends with the rest. Thirst quenching ability is saving grace.

375ml bottle. Clears golden with a medium head. Slightly sweet nose. Refreshing aroma, good hops, a bit of malts, not boring indeed.

375ml bottle into schooner glass. Barely discernable malt nose. Yellow/amber with lasting white head. Nice maltiness up front. Very little bitterness at the end. Much better than other Aussie mainstream lagers.

(Can) Clear gold with ok white head. Aroma is ok, slightly sweet slightly grassy hops. Light body, well carbonated. Taste is light malt with some ok bitterness in end. Overall quite drinkable but not great.

Bottle from Continental Food Store, Wakefield. Pale golden, not much of a head. Decent tasting lager with lots of tasty grainy malt and a pilsner character.

One of the better widely available (in the UK) Australian beers, but considering the others that not saying much.
