375ml bottle into schooner glass. Nice label. Has the aroma of burnt sugar, like distant dark caramel. Slightly hazy beer with zero head. High carbonation. Medium body with really sharp carbonation. That dark malt taste is there at the finish then a tiny touch of acidic bitterness. Weird beer! Just stays one step ahead of being truly horrible.

330ml can into schooner glass. NOT made by Boags, can says ’Made in Vietnam’ for Australian Beer Connoisseurs. Smells of sweet corn and bread. Amber beer with a few bubbles, derisory white head which becomes a film. Light body, quite sweet. Finish is mildly metallic with stale cardboard and distant sugar. I’ve had much worse.

375 ml bottle. Bright pale Gold color. Decent sized fluffy white head. Faint grainy malt nose. Zesty, light bodied, grainy malt flavor with metallic notes. Some citrus hops, but barely evident. A good hot weather lager. Nothing more.

750ml bottle into schooner glass. Distant hop nose. Pale yellow beer with diminishing head. High carbonation. Really zingy on the tongue. Some fruity hop notes, a mild malt finish & that’s about it. Inoffensive.

In this part of Australia, pale lagers seem to rule. Can’t tell one from the other, nondescript and bland.

Mass market lager, not much else to say, blends with the rest. Thirst quenching ability is saving grace.

375ml bottle. Clears golden with a medium head. Slightly sweet nose. Refreshing aroma, good hops, a bit of malts, not boring indeed.

375ml bottle into schooner glass. Barely discernable malt nose. Yellow/amber with lasting white head. Nice maltiness up front. Very little bitterness at the end. Much better than other Aussie mainstream lagers.
