330ml bottle into shaker. Typical euro-lager nose, a bit grassy, a bit sour. Golden amber beer with a thin sticky white head. Some lacing. Very lightly carbonated. Smooth texture, a little fruity at first. Finish has some malt, sour grain and tin. Easy to drink and (slightly) more interesting than your usual Aussie macros.

On tap at Upper Deck at Launceston Airport. Pours orange. Caramel, sherbet, orange, really sharp acidity and a long sweaty finish. Super carbonated body. Slightly upsetting to see an 'english' style ale that's just a bad amber lager.

375ml can on Qantas flight. Pours gold. Acidic aroma, peach, syrupy, quite bready and a little cardboard. Decent body. Not great.

375ml bottle into shaker. Subdued nose of sweet malt. Crystal clear orange/bronze beer with two finger head of foam on top. Some patchy lacing. Light carbonation. Full-bodied with a smooth texture. Taste is smoky malt and toffee with a very English grassy hop finish. Nice beer, reminiscent of an ESB.

375ml bottle into tulip (because it's an epicurean experience!). Twist-top cap kinda undermines the classy marketing but not as much as the skunky 'green bottle' nose! Golden amber beer with fulsome frothy white head. High fine carbonation. Light body. Taste is sour grains and tin. Finish is more tin, grains and vinegar. Much like its marketing premise, this beer looks good but leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber brown with reasonable white head. Pleasant aroma of toast, toffee and hints of grass. Medium body with plenty of perhaps a little coarse and fizzy carbonation. Good tasting beer, starts of with gentle toffee and toasty notes, which then grow substantially to bold rich toffee malt. Then some satisfying bitterness develops, encouraging the next mouthful. Really rather good.

375ml bottle at Prickly Cactus, Launceston. Nose of plastic malt. Golden amber beer with fluffy white head which stays and laces well. The odd stray bubble shows itself. Medium body, bit of zing. Finish is vegetal and malty with a touch of tin. Different to other Aussie macros but not necessarily better.
