A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light curacao, orange pulp, coriander, nice and smooth. In mouth, a sweet chalky malt with light curacao, light mineral notes, light banana esters, faint cloves, water body, so-so. On tap at North Country Brewfest 2016.

bouteille. [notes 2006]

Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with light spices notes is pleasant. Taste is also a nice mix of caramelized malt with some light spices and light toffee notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not the most complex beer out there but not bad for style that is not brewed often enough.

Draught at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Newark, NJ
Dark color, almost black, with beige compact head. The mouthfeel is too dry and weak, it just gives way to some roasted malt flavor; the smoke is hardly detected; and the aroma is almost non-existent.
Simple, dumbed down beer for the masses.

Light amber color, clean. Soft Ale, a bit malty, rather dry (not too much), but it has a light butter aroma and flavor.
Not bad, but possibly flawed.
