Cask at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Described to me as βA classic heavyβ at the bar. Medium dark reddish brown color. Full-flavored, rounded, and fruity. Relatively sweet, but pleasantly so. There is a nice dryness coming from both hops and roasting. Good dry finish. I like it.

Cask at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Slightly sweet aroma, with citrus and cascade hops. Sweet-and-sour flavor, fruity, with citrus hops. Not a lot of bitterness, but itβs there in the finish. Decent malt character and a dry finish.

Bottle @ Bow Bar. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma is malty, garden, flowery, garbage, out of date cooked pasta. Flavour of sweet malts, flowery.

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium orange amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, vomit notes, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, flowers - fruity. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100205]
