Cask at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Described to me as β€œA classic heavy” at the bar. Medium dark reddish brown color. Full-flavored, rounded, and fruity. Relatively sweet, but pleasantly so. There is a nice dryness coming from both hops and roasting. Good dry finish. I like it.

Cask at the Halfway House, Edinburgh. Slightly sweet aroma, with citrus and cascade hops. Sweet-and-sour flavor, fruity, with citrus hops. Not a lot of bitterness, but it’s there in the finish. Decent malt character and a dry finish.
