Lazy afternoon at Beerstorming with a very friendly welcome. Draft sample, self-poor. Nose is quite unpleasant at frist, rotting fruit, spoiled, dark bread & big chai tea oddly, once you get a bit used to it, more cheap chocolate, chai,... Taste is oddly instantly good, overly sweet chai tea, latte, cheap sweet chocolate, milk chocolate, strange sweet, weird brew. Body is chocolate milk & milk chocolate (cheap).

Lazy afternoon at Beerstorming with a very friendly welcome. Draft sample, self-poor. Amber orange, creamy tanned head. Nose is odd in the way that the oregano is massive, bready malt in the back, sugar. Taste is far too sweet, sweet bread, soap, there is clear oregano but not as extreme as in the smell, doesn’t really work with the sweet base but agreeable overall. Body is oddly sweet malty syrup, low wort, soap.

Lazy afternoon at Beerstorming with a very friendly welcome. Draft sample. Dark amber, massive creamy tanned low mocha head. Nose is nice mellow pine resin, grapefruit peel, syrupy malt. Taste is herbal, bitter leaves, bitter herbs, lots of bitter leaves, low herbal sweetness, some malt syrup, medium bitter. Body is thick malt, malt syrup, herbal leaves. Quite decent in general, def. above average by quite a bit for Beerstorming + best of this session obv.

Lazy afternoon at Beerstorming with a very friendly welcome. Draft sample. Dark orange, creamy tanned head. I expected something far more refreshing than this after reading lemon grass, nose is all weirdly sweet yoghurt, overly thick, spoiled far too thick malt with no lemon grass, heavy pepper leaves in a bad way makes sense. Taste is all pepper leaves I assume, overly malty thick, spoiled yoghurt, finish all bitter leaves, kitchen spices. Body is thick spoiled malt. Just a bit slab of not too pleasant malt & kitchen spices, not the best.

Lazy afternoon at Beerstorming with a very friendly welcome. Draft sample. Two batches were made of this beer, one with zest & one with zest + fruit flesh. This one is apparently the zest one & tastes like that. Hazy orange. Nose is fresh orange peel, fruit flesh, pleasantly fruity. Taste is all bitter orange peel, strongly bitter with heavy pepper, very harsh, raw bitter, giving it a hugely dry feel. Harsh but works decently, could use more complexity but definitely above average for Beerstorming.

2/VI/17 - 50cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: VI/2017 (2017-702) Thanks to 77ships for the trade!

Clear orange beer, aery big yellowish head, dissipates rather quickly. Aroma: bit fruity, some peach, citrus, other fruits, bit grassy, spicy notes. MF: very lively carbon, too much to be enjoyable, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter and dry start, bit spicy, lemony touch, fruity, hoppy. Aftertaste: very fruity, actually, pretty darn good. Probably the best Beerstorming this far!

Pours clear, blonde/amber. Small, unstable white head. Smell is grainy malts, bit dry.Old apples. Not much of the regular saison yeastyness / hay characters. Taste is dry, bit astrigent, bit harsh, rotten apples, unfresh malts. something a bit off, as a dry, plastic-like finish. Not my thing. mf is OK, carbo is ok, but the quality, taste and scent are not. I was actually surprised there were apple(juice) in it, since I didn’t read the ingredients before tasting. i thought it was more of a yeasty issue. Still, the beer just doesn’t work.
