From a can. Pours hazy yellow, bit of foam. Not really clear at all. Aroma has some funky yeast character, some bread malts together with soapy wet cardboard. Drinks actually OK, wheat feeling to it, some Ginga Kogen house character I guess but no, it is not really good. Overall drinkable although not really a pilsner.

Poured into a taster showing very low filtration, a dense/cloudy honey with dried apricot in appearance, sparse white foam around the edges. The nose shows very subtle dried apricot. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. A lot of light tart steel tank/copper notes. Light malt backbone to support the beer but generally not a lot except a simple English style pale ale. Personally, I find nothing to dislike about this beer. In terms of Japanese craft beer, this is surprisingly competent.

At the 8th tasting (round 1), held at Vlada’s Beerville pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Can courtesy of KansaiBeer Lvrs, many thanks mate! Pours cloudy golden-weizen color, medium tick white foamy head. Nose: clove, banana, bakery smell, fresh and clean aroma. Mouth: clean, balanced, well-done. Mild feel of wheat, bread crumb, lovely. Bravo!

Can from Daiei in himonya. Drank straight rom the can. For some reason it has a weizen like aroma. Average to soft carbonation. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Light body. Taste has some malt and corn. Very very light hops....basically non-existent. Cream corn aftertaste. Maybe infected? Not really a pils. --- Beer merged from original tick of Beer Pilsner on 16 Jun 2015 at 18:53 - Score: 5

Can from FoodShow, shibuya. Drank straight from the can. Nice clove and light banana nose with a hint of lemon. Nice spice profile: clove, nutmeg and coriander. Light banana with a slight citrus tang. Lightly bitter Cindy. Great for the price. --- Beer merged from original tick of White Beer on 27 May 2015 at 14:11 - Score: 6

Can from foodshow in shibuya. Drank straight from the can. Big clove aromas upon opening with some banana as well on the nose. Starts out slightly sweet on the palate and then becomes lightly peppery/spicy. Tastes of bans cream pie and bubblegum are there but not cloying. Excellent peppery dry finish. A very respectable weizen. --- Beer merged from original tick of Weizen on 14 May 2015 at 19:36 - Score: 7
