Description
Stark Brewing Company originally started back in 1994 as the Stark Mill Brewery. Stark Mill was the first brewery in the city and was brought to life through the efforts of Brewmaster Peter Telge. Peter is a Manchester native, born and raised here in the Queen City, and has been in charge of the brewery for over 20 years now. In 1999, the brewery underwent a rebranding to keep up with the times and opened back up as Milly's Tavern, named after Peter's favorite German Shepherd, who is honored in our logo. Stark Brewing Company is proud to continue its devoted legacy as being Manchester's only brewpub, bringing fresh beer, delicious food, and great times to the people of New England.

The appearance was a semi-dark rustic copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Messy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of floral hops over top of some caramel/toffee malts with a decent biscuit/breadiness quality sliding in.
The flavor was somewhat malty sweet with a decent bready/biscuit aftertaste. Finishes with a little bit of a light floral hop punch.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it despite being a tad bit higher level in ABV for the style (I didn’t mind).
Overall, pretty nice English pale ale. Might even attract the American crowd to try this.

The appearance was a fairly dark copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Sly remnants of sticky messy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of Belgian yeast and sugars, some dark fruits, some red delicious and Cortland apples, light breadiness, apricot and ended with some earthy and grassy hops.
The flavor was basically the same blending the sweet to some light spice, somewhat like clove, perhaps some ginger. Sly aftertaste of the Belgian notes. Finish was slightly sticky.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt good.
Overall, pretty nice Belgian ale fairly close to a real Abbey Dubbel.

The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange color with a small film of a white foamy head. Sly lace.
The aroma had some soft Belgian yeasty/breadiness up front, good amount of honey, light pomme-like fruits, and a soft herbal quality at the end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweetness of the blend. Fruits seemed a bit more scaled. Aftertaste had more honey sweetness. Finish was all about the honey.
The feel was light bodied, and pretty sessionable. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt just as good.
Overall, honey ale or a Belgian ale with honey in it? Not sure, but it’s worth a shot if you like what I just described.

The appearance was a mildly murky brown color with just a film of a white foamy head. No lace.
The aroma had milk chocolate up front, a little bit of dark chocolate and ended with some mild cereal grains.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side through the dark and milk chocolates. Aftertaste and finish were the same.
The feel was light bodied and fairly sessionable. Carbonation was good. ABV was fine.
Overall, not a stout, not a porter, not a brown ale, just a straight up chocolate ale. I think I remember having something similar to what Boulevard brewed several years ago when I lived in their distribution.

The appearance was a deep dark brown color with a slim bar pour’s kind of off tan foamy head that slid off into oblivion fairly nice. Minimal lace.
The aroma had some sweet and roasted nuts with an ample amount of caramel and toffee malts.
The flavor was nutty sweet with the caramel and toffee playing with a little bit of butterscotch. Not much of an aftertaste but there’s a nice dry sweet sort of finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation about it. ABV screamed \"chug me\" but I sipped my first pint and ended up not having another, though I could have.
Overall, pretty nice \"session\" styled brown ale, I could see myself having another time. The only thing is I didn’t get any \"honey\" in this.

The appearance was a nice looking dark amber color, almost brown. Thin film of a little white foamy head that slid out into oblivion. No lace.
The aroma had just a touch of vanilla playing with some roasted malts. Barely any caramel. Nuts even seemed scaled further back.
The flavor yielded to the vanilla sweetness initially and then brought some light sweet nuts. Vanilla and malts in the aftertaste. Super sweet finish.
The feel was between light and medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good.
Overall, not exactly a problematic beer, just didn’t seem to blend the vanilla to the roast enough. Everything seemed cleanly done, nothing off.

The appearance was a dark red almost brown color with a slight film of a little white foamy head that softened out gently. Left some spotty lace.
The aroma had some roast, sweet grains, toast and nuts. Some caramel malts.
The flavor leaned into the sweetness at first and then developed a little bit of roast with a little bit of clean butterscotch. Light aftertaste of the roast and then gently flows right on into the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a good carbonation about it. ABV felt good. Pretty smooth along my tongue.
Overall, nice English styled brown ale worthy of having again.

Can listed as from stark brewing. Belgian wit with a nice head. Very mild citrus aroma. Fairly flat. Looks like a wit beir of course. Yes, mild taste attributes as well. Mild & easy. Except for the lacking of CO2, this is not bad. Pretty good overall. Thank you to my son in law.
