clear dark brown, smooth light brown head. roasted malts, honey, nice sweet almost boozy base to the aroma flavor is roasted malts, caramel, flowery hoppy note, milky note, ends quite dry.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours an opaque pitch black with a lacing light brown head. Heavily roasted aroma, vanilla and dark fruits. Solid body, carbonation is a little excessive, hard roast flavours with a twist of smoke and vanilla. Malt bitter finish. Solid stuff. 230511

650mL bottle, pours dark brown / black with a medium lingering beige head. Aroma of light cocoa, light roasted notes and a hint of coffee. Flavour is similarly mild, with the cocoa and roasted notes upfront. Light-bodied, with not much going on. Pretty standard porter.

Black color; medium sized creamy head. Very nice aroma of roasted malt, milky, with notes of leather and cocoa nibs. Reasonable body strength, even if more was expected; good flavor, dominated by the roasted malts, with some liquorice finish. Strong bitterness, mostly coming from the roasted malts, and still a milky trace. Very good.

On tap at Propeller in Halifax. Pours out amber topped with a small sand head. Aroma was of caramel, bread malts, nuts, sweetness, and some light hop notes. Taste was much as the aroma with a good malt mix along with the light hops. A very well done ESB.

On tap at Propeller in Halifax. Pours out golden/straw topped with a small white head. Aroma was of biscuit, light hop, and a touch of grass. Taste was much as the aroma bit with a little brown sugar and caramel sweetness.

On tap at Propeller in Halifax. Pours out a dark amber topped with a small head. Aroma was of light honey notes, some grain, and a touch of fruit. Taste was much as the aroma a little honey and grain. Not to exiting overall.

On tap at Propeller in Halifax. Pours out dark brown topped with a rocky tan head. Aroma was of sweet chocolate, dark roast, caramel, and a touch of smoke. Taste was more of the sweetness, some pit fruit, a touch of brown sugar, and a little of that smoke on the end.

On tap at Propeller in Halifax. Pours out golden topped with a tall fluffy head. Aroma was of citrus hops, grape fruit juice, light pine, and a good amount of toast. Taste was more of the grapefruit citrus hops, some lemon zest and a good malt backbone. Not a over the top IPA just a casual drinker.

On tap at Propeller in Halifax. Pours out a clear crisp light gold topped with a small head. Aroma was of bread malts, light spice, and some floral notes. Taste was pretty much the same a light crisp spice.
