Bright golden-bronze colour. Light and clean with a good dose of English hops in the nose. Woody, leafy hop character with light baguette notes and background fruitiness (kiwi, pear). Not really a classic IPA but it is a pretty good beer.

Pale beige colour with light haze. Spicy aroma - clove and cinnamon - with anglohops and background maltiness. Bit of nutmeg late. Fairly clean and balanced but not especially compelling.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color porter with a medium dark brown bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of roasted malt with a hint of chocolate and coffee. The roasted malt with a subtle undertone of chocolate and coffee also dominates taste. Body is medium full and carbonation is low. Very good example of the style.

Bottle: Poured a clear copper color beer with a medium bubbly white head with average retention. Aroma of sweet and fruity malt. Taste is enjoyable without being overly complex with a nice mix of fruity/floral malt and medium hops distinguishable at the end. Lack a bit of character but enjoyable nonetheless.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with huge white bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of hops is clearly identifiable. Taste is quite sweet with a good floral undertone and nice bitter finish. Body is average as well as carbonation. Better then expected I must admit and very close to an APA.

Dark brown color with some red tinges. Milk chocolatey nose, light milk chocolatey mouth, slightly creamy and a dry finish. Maybe this bottle was a bit old, but I found this beer very average, especially considering how much I like their ESB.

This one pours a dark brown colour with a short lived head. Heavy molasass scent with strong malty aromas. Slightly fruity scent with a touch of wine. First taste was delicous with lots of malt flavour. The touch of burnt ash from the malt is nice. A little smoke. The finish was a slight bit fruity with the flavours of rip fruit, maybe prunes. The palate is still very tasty with mellowing malt and smoke. Very Tasty

Amber colour with a small light tan head looking a little nitrogenated. Aroma of english malt with a light nuttiness and some slight caramel essences roam in. Flavourful opening to the taste with the english hops most prevalent with some malt and some of that sweetness. Aftertaste is pretty much all english hops with some nuts-very nice! I had this pint on draught at a bar in Toronto, Ontario on 09-April-2004 with my good friend Jon (JONR888710).

Thin head which collapses into oblivion. Mild smell of honey and grass on the nose. Dry malts and a bit sweet in the mouth, with a faint bitterness in aftertaste. Nothing special.
