Description

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a slightly hazy, pale amber with a tall, dense and lasting white head leaving laces. Aroma of pale malts with a whiff of yeast. Medium body with a light fruitiness and some yeast. Dry, light bitter finish with a touch of diacetyl. A very pleasant "Blonde" with no flaws. 040207

Picked this up in Antwerp October 2006. This beer poured a slightly hazy warm golden colour with a busy white frothy head. Zippy fruity, yeasty aroma, taste a bit yeasty fruity and good spiciness. Good solid reliable beer.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Golden yellow/orange colour with a huge, but brief, white head. Slightly hazy. Fruity nose with distinct notes of apricots, mandarin and spicy hops. Fruity taste as well, with apricots, citrus, oranges and a hint of marzipan. Huge and powerful taste with a serious dose of spicy, peppery hops in the finish. Full bodied. Obviously there is some sweetness but overall the hops dominate, turning the finish into a rather dryish pleasant joy. A real beauty.
