At ZBF 2011, Sint-Niklaas: Very dark brown coloured brew with an beige foamy head. Taste of dark fruits, chocolate and like the name champagne-like appearance.

Bottle with crowncork 0,75 ltr: Won it at the ZBF’13, Leuven tombola, hazy golden coloured brew with an mild fruity citrus taste. One easy going from this brewery of great brutbeers.

Color marrón cobrizo, turbia, espuma beige claro de burbuja irregular con bastante menos retención de lo esperado y nula adherencia. Aroma con matices de caramelo, especias, fruta madura...me parece sentir también ciertas notas de óxido?. En boca es plena, cálida, licorosa, mayormente dulce, maltosa. Debo confesar que me he llevado una buena decepción con esta cerveza, ansiaba catarla desde hace tiempo y tenía puestas grandes esperanzas en ella, pero se me ha quedado demasiado corta, especialmente en apariencia y aroma, puede que en sabor haya mantenido el tipo pero ni por asomo me ha proporcionado la experiencia que yo esperaba de ella. No descarto que una mala conservación haya podido mermar sus facultades, pero lo que está claro es que no ha sido lo que yo esperaba, lástima... Seguiré disfrutando de los últimos sorbos no obstante y guardaré para ella el beneficio de la duda, quizá en el futuro podré contrastar mi juicio actual volviéndola a probar.
