Bottle - Bittersweet chocolate, molasses and cocoa. Jet black with a creamy beige head. Roast malts, cocoa and some chocolate in the finish. Pretty decent.

Growler freshly filled at Van Moll Brewpub, shared @ Joris’ BBQ & Good Beer party. Lightly hazy yellow to orange color, medium sized white head that leaves fair lacing. Aroma is lightly malts and quite floral, lightly hops. Taste lightly malts, hops, slightly tropical fruits, floral, lightly bitter. Soft texture, velvety touch, smooth carbonation. Lovely beer again!

Growler thx to benzai @ joes. Hazy yellow to orange colour with a small white head. Smells hops, fresh, fruity, sweet, slightly malty, some apricot. Tastes hops, fresh, fruity, apricot, peach.. Nice. Soft, nice carbo, medium body, nice aftertaste. Lekker!

Tap @ Van Moll, medium sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of citrussy hops, slight grapefruit, hint of biscuit. Medium bitter in taste, slight sweetness. Smooth. Nice stuff.

Tap @ Van Moll, small sample. Slight hazy golden color, short head. Aroma is soft spicy, slight grassy hop, bit citrus, touch of caramel. Bit sweet in taste, slight bitter. Not really dry, but more smooth. Probably because its from tap. Not as fruity and estery yeast bomb as most abbey tripels. Very easy drinker, which can be dangerous.
